Begin a lifelong leadership journey on the right foot.
It’s important to view one’s first executive assignment as the beginning of a leadership journey that will last a lifetime. There will be discussion of how leadership responsibilities evolve in organizations and over the course of one’s career, why it’s useful to view each executive assignment as preparation for the next, and the importance of focusing on certain key priorities that will help ensure success in the first assignment in particular.
During this presentation, attendees will learn:
- How executive responsibilities in organizations evolve through four stages, from managing individual projects to inspiring organizational purpose
- The three priorities that should be at the top of every new executive’s “to-do” list
- The specific steps every new executive should take to successfully address each of these three priorities
